Brother - Rude, unprofessional
I waited online in the technical support chat *** for 40 minutes. After arriving at position number one in the ***, I received a message
saying, "Status Cancelled," no one is available to assist.
"Please try again later."
If they were intent on dealing with me like this, I would have preferred they had not wasted 40 minutes of my time while I waited in the *** expecting somebody to help me and told me upfront they had no one to help me.
Remarkably, essentially the same thing occurred when I called on the phone - after holding for 42 minutes, someone finally answered who mined me for information (name, email address, etc.) and I was hung up. Even more remarkably, I called back later and the same thing happened!
This is a staggering lack of professionalism. I am scarcely being demanding or unreasonable by needing a little technical support when the printer stops working.
I would discourage anyone from buying Brother products due to this shameful treatment of customers.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: ACTUALLY PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
Brother Cons: Rude tech support, Customer service, Got hung up on.

I had the same experience with the online chat. I then phoned and after 35 minutes, someone answered.
I gave her my information and she told me I had reached the PC line (I have a Mac). She said she would forward my call to a Mac expert. That was 20 minutes ago . .
. and I'm still waiting.
