Brother Luminaire

My answer was not provided. I purchased a very expensive machine, the Brother Luminaire 2 and I would like to know when they will be available. No one likes to pay for a product and not have any idea when they will receive it!

Finally got whole of someone at Brother! Something apparently went wrong with my order when I first placed it.

After fingering out what happened Becky from customer services was able to help me replace my order! She was even kind enough to give me a discount on shipping!

I placed an order on March 26th and I haven't received any kind of confirmation email. I'm just concerned because I paid a little over $170 for a refurbished RSQ9285. I'm wondering the status of my order. I still haven't reserved anything from Brother.

Unsatisfactory assistance with problem with service

On two occasions, service representatives were unpleasant and unhelpful. On the second occasion, the representative from whom I sought assistance in scanning documents, was insulting to the point that I was nearly moved to tears. I was so distraught that I brought my son on line to deal with your representative. Although the problem was ultimately resolved, your representative was also abrasive and unpleasant with my son. I am most displeased with your completely unkind service representatives. I would not recommended your company to anyone. Marylou Noble

Defective sewing machine hook for threading needle missing

We got the machine in 2019. It sat in a cupboard in the laundry room for 18 months. When I got the machine out to use it, I found out the wire hook used to thread the needle was not there. I contacted Brother and told them it was the first time I used the machine, but they said the warranty had expired while it sat in my cupboard. The only solution they offered was for me to pay to get it repaired.

User's recommendation: Check your machine very carefully the day you buy it!

Unable to change font styles

The nice lady who helped me suggested I try resetting my p-touch again, using the shift, R, &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; on/off button. After that it worked properly again, and I was able to change the font style. Thank you

The order was botched. Status showed as delivered as soon as order was placed. No confirmation email for order. Subsequently, I received an email about my printer purchase. I purchased a serger.

Since there is NO customer service contact information on the Brother website, I found the phone number on the pissedcustomer.com site. The 1st number didnt work, but the second number connected me to customer service eventually (30 minute wait). There I found out the correct order was shipped (hopefully). No explanation given as to why I didnt receive a confirmation email or why the wrong product appeared in another email. The whole order process was a scrambled mess and customer service was well hidden. Disappointed in Brothers web presence and processing stream. Exasperated with their customer service commitment or lack thereof.

User's recommendation: Brother products are well made. The front end team needs to be replaced.

Botched order

The call center was a computer. It would only accept a model number. To make matters worse, the call skipped and I could only hear a few words before it would skip again. Disaster.

Password too long for wifi

I waited 14 minutes for someone to answer my phone call. Then I was disconnected I will try one more time before I return the printer and purchase one from a company with adequate phone support.

Sad employee

The young lady was extremely Stoic, non sociable and came across tired as though she just did not want to work with, talk to or help customers. Anisha, the phone disconnected but a few minutes later she called back. However, the demeanor was sad and sickening. Some people simply do not need the customer service position, period...

I was in the wrong. Issue resolved

I was so used to having a floor presser foot. Not realizing that this is NOT a sewing machine/ embroidery machine... BUT just an EMBROIDERY MACHINE. That does not require a floor presser foot. My issue was resolved. That you so much for reaching out. Im not upset. Was just very confused. Thank you again

30 minutes on hold and no one answers the phone

their "online chat" is a bot that does not answer questions nor directs to anyone that is human-- their account systrem which I am already registered cannot update my information...it is a myriad of one issues after another with this company and their products
